Youngs Greenhouses, Inc. was started in 1980 by Cooper and Joyce young in Charlie, Texas, with one greenhouse and one type of lettuce. Along the way two of their three sons, Chad and Joe joined them in the family business. They now have grown to 26 Greenhouses and currently offer 13 varieties of hydroponic lettuces and watercress. In addition, they are committed in doing their part to protect the environment. That is why their greenhouses are running on electricity that comes from solar panels that are located on the property.
